Each painting begins with a moment that caught my attention: a certain light, or a place I couldn't forget. Every stroke is an attempt to capture that initial inspiration.

I’m Lance Hewison, a painter drawn to atmosphere, memory, and emotion.

My work has been exhibited internationally, with shows in San Francisco, New York, London, and Hamburg, and is held in private collections across the world.

I studied painting at Academy of Art in SF, and later at Chelsea College of Arts in London. But more than anything, my work has evolved through a continuous search for stillness, depth, and presence.
