Nostos takes its name from the ancient Greek word for homecoming, the bittersweet return after a long journey. In this original painting, a tall ship emerges as a dark silhouette against a luminous blue horizon, sailing toward us from the open sea.

Like Odysseus in Homer's Odyssey, the ship carries more than cargo. It carries transformation. We set out one person and return another, shaped by distance, time, and everything the journey asked of us. Home is still home, but we meet it with different eyes.

This one-of-a-kind painting is created entirely by hand and sealed with a protective beeswax varnish. Its deep blue, nautical palette carries a quiet, contemplative mood, making it especially at home in a bedroom, study, or reading room where a sense of stillness is appreciated.
