VESTIGES
The paintings in Vestiges depict ghostly figures and remnants from various eras of human history. They were created on translucent vellum paper with thin washes of oil, and appear to hover on the verge of disintegration. When viewed from a comfortable distance, history seems orderly and linear. But is it really as defined as we might imagine?
